Road Tripping in Louisville and hungry for a snack meal, we decided to make a Wendy’s run. That was the game plan at least. Instead, we ended up at Jaggers.
The GPS took us past a sleek building featuring a drive-through called Jaggers. We pulled in abandoning our original plan.
We were ready and downright excited to try out a new (to us at least!) fast food joint.
Jaggers begins with a quick order
It was set up like a Portillos. At least in the way that there were order runners. Instead of pulling up to a speaker, a team member came directly to the car to get your order while you waited in line for the speaker. We were a bit unprepared and a little frazzled. We were expecting to be at or near a menu, so we quickly pulled up the menu on our phone and in record time gave an order.
Being that I was in vacation mode I went for the more expensive sandwich which had avocado on it! Worth.
And by treating myself I mean I got the $7.99 California Grilled Chicken (Sandwich.) It was delicious!
The sandwiches were sizable and the ingredients were nice and fresh. The avocado and the melted cheese made my sandwich!

The new gem to us seemed to be a known spot, as it was indeed crowded enough to warrant the runner style of ordering. The parking lot was filled, pushing us to a nearby lot.
They had inside seating, but our covid and road trip vibes usually keep us in the vehicle for fast food dining. It was a good call to stay in the car because our phone rang, and it was time to meet up with the rest of our ‘celebration’ crew. My boyfriend and I were in the area for a graduation.
We left the parking lot and headed off, ready to start the celebration!
